Queen Ann Period Walnut Chest on Stand
This antique Queen Ann period chest on stand is constructed of walnut. The uppercase with molded cornice has two-over-three graduated drawers in a burled veneer and accent string inlay. The pulls and escutcheons have been replaced. The lower case has two flanking single-pull drawers and a scalloped and carved apron. It rests on ball and claw feet with shell carvings at the knees.
